Project: Hybrid diffuse optical monitoring and theranostics with blood flow and oxygen metabolism biomarkers on pre-clinical models
Faruk Bešlija received his bachelor and master degrees, both in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, from the International University of Sarajevo in 2018 and 2019, respectively. He worked as a teaching assistant and the same department, as well as the research assistant for Sarajevo-based company Everest, in a domain of the subnanoparticles optical sensing, in a collaborative project which included the International University of Sarajevo and the Canadian photonics company Doric Lenses. In October 2020, he joined the Medical Optics group at The Institute of Photonic Sciences (ICFO), Spain, to pursue his PhD degree. His current research interests include novel methods based on diffuse optics for applications in health studies.
