Project: Diffuse Optical Monitoring and Prediction of Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy for Personalized Breast Cancer Management
Nikhitha Mule completed her Bachelor of Science (Honours) Physics from Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, Prasanthi Nilayam, India in the year 2018. She then received her Master of Science (Physics) degree from Sri Padmavati University, Tirupati, India with specialization in Electronics in the year 2020. During her master’s program, she was part of the project that aimed to evaluate and explore the efficacy of Iron Oxide magnetic nanoparticles in the approach of magnetic hyperthermia based controlled drug delivery and cancer therapy. Her research interests include areas of Diffuse Optics and data analysis for clinical research.
Nikhitha will pursue a PhD degree program at Politecnico di Milano, Italy working with San Raffaele Hospital, Italy on the “Diffuse Optical Monitoring and Prediction of Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy for Personalized Breast Cancer Management” as an ESR in the PHAST Project.
